PEER MENTORSHIP
About the Program
The MBSU Peer Mentorship program connects upperclassmen biology students with lowerclassmen biology students. Peer mentors guide mentees in areas such as courses, social life, the MBSU, and larger McGill resources. Peer mentors meet with mentees 4-8 hours a year (i.e., bringing them to an MBSU event) in addition to other communication. Peer mentors develop leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, including active listening.
